Yodelings: A Graduate in the Family

Finally, we have our first Masters degree holder in our family of two! Yeah!

Zach walked on June 6th, having successfully defended his thesis on June 4th, 2014.

We thank God for how he opened doors, and made it possible for Zach to make this step!

From the mouths of babes

"Yum" I said as I pretended to eat the leaf Mariama had just handed me. "No mommy, that's money." Oops!
"Don't call me Mariama," said in all seriousness from the backseat, "Call me Mara." We had just learned the story of Ruth.
"I just need to rest a few minutes." Mariama announced when she was called for dinner. "Don't pray without me."
"Are you Daso's grandmother?" a Nigerian child asked Christy one day.
"I'm in the Lord's ditch" Mariama sang her own original musical number. To hit the charts soon!
When we got new pretty mosquito nets, Daso said, "Mariama, which princess do you want to be? Cinderella?"
"No, you be Cinderella," Mariama responded, "I'll be Moses."
